„Fakt vs. Fake“: Wissenschaft sicher kommunizieren

Im Workshop „Fakt vs. Fake“ lernten Wissenschaftler:innen der Uni Graz, wie sie Desinformation erkennen und ihre Forschung verständlich und vertrauenswürdig vermitteln können.

Wie kann man als Wissenschaftler:in auf Falschinformationen reagieren? Welche Tools helfen beim Faktencheck? Und wie gelingt es, auch bei komplexen Themen klar, verständlich und zielgerichtet zu kommunizieren?

Diesen Fragen widmete sich die Schulung „Fakt vs. Fake: Wissenschaft sicher kommunizieren“, die kürzlich an der Universität Graz stattfand. Die Teilnehmenden erhielten praxisnahe Einblicke in den Umgang mit Desinformation, den Einfluss von Algorithmen, Deepfakes und Echokammern – sowie in effektive Strategien für faktenbasierte Kommunikation.

Michael Reicho (Institut für Bildungsforschung und Pädagog:innenbildung) und Hildrun Walter (7. Fakultät) kombinierten theoretische Grundlagen mit praktischen Übungen. Gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmer:innen reflektierten sie aktuelle Herausforderungen und stärkten die Fähigkeit, wissenschaftliche Inhalte zielgruppenorientiert und vertrauenswürdig zu vermitteln.

Der Workshop stieß auf großes Interesse und zeigte einmal mehr: Gute Wissenschaft braucht gute Kommunikation – gerade in Zeiten von Fake News und Informationsflut.
