Dr. Katrin Praprotnik

Our political scientist Katrin Praprotnik recently appeared in two key Austrian media formats: ZiB 2 and the Ö1 Mittagsjournal. She contributed her expertise on current political developments, migration and asylum.

Summer in Austrian politics is traditionally the season of review and outlook in the ORF’s political summer interviews. In the ZiB 2 coverage of the summer interview with Andreas Babler on 27 August, Katrin Praprotnik provided expert commentary on the latest political developments.

Already on 20 August, she was a guest on the Ö1 Mittagsjournal. In this interview she discussed migration and asylum in the political discourse as well as the shift of political narratives to the right.

Through these contributions, Praprotnik demonstrates how scientific analysis can help the public better understand current political issues.
