Three Minute Thesis Competition

An 80.000 word doctoral thesis would take 9 hours to present. The time limit for our candidates is only 3 minutes.

To make it a little bit more difficult for our candidates:

• the presentation has to be in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience
• no slide transitions and no animations are allowed
• competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified

An expert jury will choose the 3MT winner and the audience will select the winner of the People’s Choice award.
